Spy Museum Trip

On Monday, President's Day, February 18, 2008 we visited the International Spy Museum in downtown Washington DC.  There were 17 post members and 5 adults.  It started out warm and sunny, but when we left the museum, we got caught in some rain.

We left  from the Shady Grove Metro station in north Rockville just off Rt 355 around 10:15am.  We got there a little after 11:ooam, so we ate lunch in the cafe next to the museum before we went in.

There was a $16 entrance fee, $4.70 Metro fare, and each person brought money for lunch.

Schedule

  • 10:00am - Meet at Shady Grove Metro Station ticket machines
  • 11:00am - Lunch at Museum Cafe
  • 12:00pm - Enter Museum
  • 3:00pm - Leave Museum
  • 4:00pm - Back at Shady Grove Metro

Here are some pictures.  They won't let us take pictures inside, but we learned how spies operated, so  we may have taken some pictures we can't publish.
