On a bright sunny
Saturday in October the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society
from the DC Metropolitan region conducted a robotics competition.
See the video on the event.
The objective of the competition was to race around
an oval track which was outlined with bright orange cones. The
track was about 30 meters long.
There were three entries in the
competition (video):
- DC/MD/VA Robotics and Automation
Team
- Maryland University College Park
Robotics Club
- Montgomery College Robotics Club
Here are the
results,
posted at Robotronics. We can learn a lot about robotics by
reviewing this competition. Maybe next year our Explorer Post
might compete.
Here are some pictures of the track.
