Martin Exploring Program Botball Project |
Hey, you are looking at the coolest web site by the coolest engineering team!
Lockheed
Martin Mission Systems in Gaithersburg Maryland sponsors an Exploring Program.
It provides local high school teenagers with an exposure to careers in computer
science and engineering. We accomplish this through tours, guest speakers,
discussions, exercises, activities, and projects. The group, referred to as
Explorer Post 1010, meets twice a month throughout the school year with industry
engineers. To see what we are all about, visit our web site at http://www.missionsystems.lockheedmartin.com/exploring/.
Exploring is a worksite-based program that gives young women and men an
opportunity to visit community organizations and explore the dynamics of
potential careers. It is associated with Learning for Life, a national
effort that prepares youth to handle the complexities of today's society and to
enhance their self-confidence and motivation. If you would like to know more
about these programs, visit http://www.learning-for-life.org.
